school is almost over (when did that happen?! just yesterday it was summer and now its summer again!) and im packing and packing and saying goodbye without saying goodbye to all of my friends while we sit and do nothing but bask in each other. im happy where i am for this moment.

as a new crocheter i get giddy at all the possibilities i dont know about!

i am so sleepy! normal i head to bed at a decent hour but somehow 0130 crept upon me last night- studying normally doesnt fly like that! needless to say im already yawning! oh well, tonight my bed and i will be so very very close very very early.

i whipped up a mini treasure paper for my partner-in-nursing... 12 hour shifts on slow floors can leave us rather stagnate.

this is a much nicer place on a monday than supply closests and charting nooks!

so i made that headband and gave it to my friend... and thats that. and she liked it and wore it and we were friends.

except that halfway through shift (its easter! so busy at work.) this little rich high school girl who is crazy but makes me laugh sidles up to me and says shell PAY ME to make her one!

surprise craft time.

i decided to make a headband for a coworker last night (hello implusive!).

she needs something pretty in her life and i needed a break from my bright green crochet hook.

i found the headband here... i had to modify things since im poor, so the elastic is the side of a fitted sheet and i hand sewed the edges but i think it came out very easter. i like the rough edges and the yellow.

isnt that blanket the warmest most homey thing youve seen?

its sirs, but im using it cause he isnt right now. i love.

lately weve been playing a lot of frisbee golf. like twice a day a lot.

its been in the 90's and super windy... how could we resist?!

we took someone out for their first time last night and boy did he stay busy: he hit me twice, threw his frisbee into the baseball game, and hit a moving golf cart. oh whoops!

in high school when i got sick i would always watch whatever terrible marathon was on the syfy channel (#1 was definitely made for tv disaster movie days). i have fuzzy memories of lying on the couch and cuddling with my puppy and some sprite wasting the day away.. not doing homework.

anyway, one of those sick days i watched two seasons of doctor who.

and now i love police boxes.

and the idea that all of britain watches christmas tv.
