8.6.13
Some busy weeks.
This has been on repeat for me this week, and the Itunes version has Parting Glass (that song from Walking Dead, remember?) as a hidden bit at the end! So bonus.
Besides getting married I've been moving into our apartment and getting settled and moving clinics so I don't have to cross the bridge (and I save $300 a month) but it's been chaos! A good chaos.
The apartment is a mess, mostly because there are boxes of books scattered everywhere until we anchor our bookcases. But our clock is up and it's awesome. And we have a bed. The most comfortable bed in the world! I'd say that's a success.
I worked alone for the first time... at our main office there are never fewer than 3 RN's at a time. At satellite clinics there are never more than two. That's a BIG adjustment. And if there's an emergency you're it. It was good for the office though for me to be alone- they know I'm not just someone who does what their old nurse does, I'm a independently operating nurse. They can come to me with questions and I can take care of our patients. It was affirming to me as well, making it through the day with grace and smooth sailing. This job is something I am good at.
And I chose wedding shoes, ordered new glasses (these), bought Joshua a wedding present, and have generally been extra efficient. You should see the TO DO's I've been making, they should be on scrolls they are so long.
My life in four paragraphs. Maybe I should be doing more so I can sound interesting?
But I like not being stressed.
